Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Seasonal Maintenance Technician to join our team for the summer operating season at our RV park and campground. This role plays a key part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience of the property.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has general maintenance and repair skills, and is comfortable interacting with guests in a friendly, professional manner. This is a seasonal position running from May 1 through October 31.

Key Responsibilities

Grounds & Exterior Maintenance

• Mow lawns, trim grass, and maintain flower beds and landscaped areas
• Keep campsites, roads, walkways, and common areas clean, safe, and well‑maintained
• Monitor park grounds for hazards and address or report issues promptly

Equipment & Preventive Maintenance

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on park equipment such as lawn mowers, tractors, and other small machinery
• Inspect tools and equipment to ensure proper and safe operation
• Report equipment repair or replacement needs to management

Repairs & General Maintenance

• Complete minor repairs to park facilities and infrastructure, including basic plumbing and electrical tasks (e.g., faucets, outlets, breakers)
• Assist with maintenance of restrooms, laundry facilities, and common‑use buildings
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and management in a timely manner

Cleaning & Site Turnover

• Clean RV sites after guest departure, including picnic tables, fire pits, and site pads
• Assist with cleaning restrooms, cabins, and common areas as needed
• Prepare sites to ensure they are clean and ready for incoming guests

Guest Services & Support

• Escort guests to assigned sites and assist with backing in RVs when requested
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to guests and answer basic park‑related questions
• Communicate guest concerns or issues to management promptly

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and park policies
• Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged facilities, or potential hazards to management

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic working knowledge of general maintenance, including plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to pull, maneuver, and back trailers or equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Dependable, detail‑oriented, and safety‑minded

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry moderate loads as required

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Previous experience working in an RV park, campground, hospitality, or facilities maintenance role
• General mechanical or maintenance experience

Seasonal Reservation Agent

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Seasonal Reservation Agent to join our team during our peak operating season. This role plays a key part in supporting guest bookings, delivering excellent customer service, and creating positive first impressions for guests planning stays at our RV park and campground.

The ideal candidate enjoys helping guests plan memorable stays, communicates clearly and professionally, and is comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment while contributing to overall guest satisfaction and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Reservations & Booking Support

• Assist guests in selecting accommodations, including cabins, RVs, and RV spaces
• Create, modify, and manage reservations based on guest needs and preferences
• Verify availability for requested travel dates
• Process payments and issue accurate booking confirmations

Guest Communication & Service

• Answer guest questions regarding reservations, policies, and procedures
• Provide friendly, professional assistance throughout the booking process
• Resolve reservation changes, cancellations, or issues in a timely manner

Sales & Upselling

• Recommend upgrades, add‑on services, or special packages when appropriate
• Communicate available deals or savings to enhance guest value and experience

Local Knowledge & Guest Experience

• Suggest local attractions, activities, and points of interest
• Help guests plan itineraries that enhance their stay

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work Environment & Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during peak season
• Ability to sit for extended periods and work with computers and phone systems

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Experience in hospitality, travel, sales, or reservation‑based roles
• Familiarity with reservation or booking software
